Pat Shannon Jones
Campaign Manager
Pat Jones is a people-centered leader with more than 43 years of experience in healthcare, global research, nonprofit executive leadership, and grassroots organizing. Her work has always been guided by a simple principle: serve people with compassion, and integrity.
Pat served as Executive Director of a nonprofit immigration services organization where she used her background as a registered nurse, her educational degrees and her work as an ordained minister to guide her. She leads with strong moral values and a deep commitment to community, embodying the spirit of people and dignity first.
Megan Wobus
Communications Director
Megan Wobus is a writer, musician, and communications professional in Baltimore City. She has published fiction and nonfiction, and she is the creator of the Fiddle Studio website, books and social media. Meg loves a good story, secretly enjoys policy and debate, and refuses to give up on making the world a better place.
Idrees Munir
Treasurer
Idrees Munir is a health innovator and a technology leader across cultures. He works at the intersection of biomedical science, telecommunications, and global health innovation. Idrees has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Glasgow, in addition to 30 years of experience translating breakthrough scientific research into scalable, socially transformative solutions. His current work pioneers natural asthma therapy called Speleotherapy through the non-profit research organization Salt Innovation.
Dwayne Hess
Outreach and Engagement
Dwayne Hess is a teacher, mentor, peacemaker and leader. He's lived in Baltimore for over 30 years, teaching high school and middle school English early in his career. He has worked in adult literacy and ESL education, and helped to start and run a neighborhood community center in Baltimore known as Clay Pots, where he lead and supported programming in education, wellness, art and community building. Dwayne is a trained spiritual director and is active in his church and community.
